These terms govern all purchases made on airportoutlines.com. By completing a purchase you agree to these terms. Please read them before ordering.

    Our commitment: Every print is custom-made to your exact specifications. We stand behind the quality of our prints and will always work with you to resolve a genuine problem. If something goes wrong on our end, we make it right.
  

1. Custom-Made Products

Every print on Airport Outlines is produced on demand, specifically for your order. Each item is manufactured to the exact airport, size, paper type, frame, and orientation you selected. Because of this:

We do not accept returns or exchanges based on a change of mind.
Cancellations are not possible once an order has been submitted for production.
Please review your selections carefully before completing your purchase.

2. Problems, Replacements, and Refunds

We work with Artelo as our print fulfillment partner. Our replacement and refund policy reflects what can be resolved through that partnership. We always handle issues directly with you — you never need to contact Artelo yourself.

Situations we cover

✓ We will arrange a replacement or refund if:

Printing defect — the print quality does not meet standards (misprint, incorrect colors, significant banding or streaking)
Arrived damaged — the product was damaged in shipping or handling
Lost in transit — the order does not arrive well beyond the expected delivery window with no tracking movement

To report any of the above: email us at [email protected] with your order number and photos. We aim to respond within one business day. We prioritize sending a replacement over issuing a refund wherever possible.

Situations we do not cover

✗ We cannot offer a replacement or refund if:

You dislike the product — the print was produced correctly but doesn't match your personal expectations or taste
You selected the wrong options — incorrect size, paper type, orientation, or airport chosen at checkout
Still within the delivery window — the order is still within the stated maximum production and shipping timeframe
Tracking shows delivered — if the carrier confirms delivery, we recommend checking with neighbors and your local post office. We'll review genuine loss cases individually, but cannot guarantee replacement.
Returned to sender — if a package is returned due to an incorrect address, refusal of delivery, or failure to collect, the customer is responsible for placing a new order. In many cases the carrier does not return the item to us.

We understand edge cases don't always fit neatly into these categories. If your situation is unusual, contact us — we're reasonable people and will consider each case individually.

3. Product Substitutions

Occasionally a specific frame material or paper type may be temporarily out of stock at Artelo's facility. In those cases:

If your exact product is unavailable, Artelo may automatically upgrade it to an equal or higher-quality option at no extra cost to you (e.g. a premium frame in place of a standard one).
If no equal or better option is available, we will contact you before proceeding with any change.
We will never substitute a lower-quality product without your approval.

4. Order Processing and Shipping

Production time: 3–5 business days after payment confirmation.

US shipping: Included in the price, no extra charge.

International shipping: Cost is shown at checkout before you pay. You are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees your country may assess — these are not included in our prices.

Tracking: You'll receive a shipping notification with a tracking number once your order ships.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are in US dollars. Shipping and any applicable sales tax are shown as separate line items at checkout before you pay. You are always charged the price confirmed at the time of purchase.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

6. Artwork and Intellectual Property

Runway diagrams are generated from OpenStreetMap data, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). OpenStreetMap contributors are credited on each print.

The graphic design, rendering style, and color themes are the property of Airport Outlines / Dubanalog, Inc. Your purchase grants a personal, non-commercial right to display the print. Reproduction or resale of the artwork is not permitted.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Airport Outlines and Dubanalog, Inc. are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights under EU consumer protection law or the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska, United States. For EU and UK customers, your mandatory local consumer protection rights apply in addition to these terms and are not waived.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you place your order governs that purchase. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
